Buying on Blur: A Workaround for Lore Vaults

Want to snag NFTs on Blur with your Lore Vault? Unfortunately, Blur doesn't support smart contract wallets like Lore. But fear not, there's a workaround (though it comes with risks):

The Challenge:

Blur requires wallets with private keys, like Metamask or hardware wallets. Lore Vaults, lacking private keys, are excluded.

The Workaround:

1. Raise funds: In your Lore Vault, open a Funding Round and collect contributions.

2. Transfer funds: Move a portion of the raised funds to a trader wallet (an EOA wallet controlled by someone in the group). This is risky as the wallet holder has full control over the funds.

3. Buy on Blur: Head to Blur and purchase the desired NFT using the trader wallet.

4. Send NFT back: Transfer the NFT from the trader wallet back to your Lore Vault using the "Sell NFT to Squad" proposal.

Remember:

• This workaround involves transferring funds to an individual's wallet, which introduces a security risk. Only proceed if you trust the person completely.

• Consider alternative marketplaces that support smart contract wallets if security is a major concern.

Sweep NFTs

Sweeping NFTs on Lore

Looking to efficiently purchase multiple NFTs at once? While Lore doesn't currently offer built-in "sweeping" functionality, you can still achieve this through proposals and external tools.

Here's how it works:

1. Connect to a supported dApp: Use WalletConnect to connect your Lore wallet to a platform like Gem, which offers NFT sweeping capabilities.

2. Initiate the sweep: Select the desired NFTs and initiate the sweep process within the external platform.

3. Create a proposal: In Lore, create a proposal that outlines the details of the sweep, including the NFTs you wish to purchase and the total cost.

4. Community collaboration: Your Group members can then review and vote on the proposal.

5. Execute the sweep: If approved, the proposal is executed, and the NFTs are purchased as a Group and added to your Lore Vault.
