Who is Using Prysm?

Examples of groups that are using Prysm today to inspire how you use Prysm!
Prysm Squads works well for groups with existing social ties that want to invest in NFTs together. You could be friends that met inside a digital community or IRL friends.

Sub-communities:

Sub-communities and subDAOs form around NFT communities. These groups range from trait-based collectives to regional or shared interest groups.
For example, Moonbirds currently has 30+ sub-communities like Dead Birds Society - the premier social club for skeleton-trait Moonbirds. Prysm is the premier place where sub-communities go from hanging out online to doing economic on-chain activity together.
Sub-communities use Prysm to manage a small treasury where they can co-own community-native assets in their ecosystem (e.g. other Moonbirds with their specific trait, Proof collective pass).
Some of our favorite sub-communities:
  • Dead Birds Society got started on Prysm, initially with 50+ members in the Proof community aiming to acquire rare Moonbirds. Their vault on Prysm has over 90 members and 150ETH of assets! They've grown continuously over time through 7 Funding Rounds.
  • MVP69DAO started within the MVP community within Memeland. They've raised funds to buy Potatoz, mint Captainz, and much more.
  • FWB Squallet is the nft-general-chat's squad wallet where they back emergent culture, art, and memes within the Friends with Benefits community!

Squads:

These are more casual smaller groups (perhaps without formal mission statements yet) interacting online to pool funds to buy & mint NFTs and earn rewards together. Some of our favorite squads:
Right Click Save was originally formed and their idea was to crash a Lamborghini for charity! (See Twitter thread here). After discovering the Prysm tool, they bought an expensive Punk.
  • 824: They are a group of 16 internet friends that got together to "make degen plays" as their mission statement says. They have grown from 23 ETH to over 80 ETH in a matter of months.
  • Other Examples of Squads include DosaDAO, Token Club

Pop-ups:

Prysm can also be used for one-time events such as an anticipated mint, staking your NFT, or flipping. (Almost like an SPV). You do not need to have a long-term mission but rather a shared goal.
Some of our favorite pop-ups:
  • A crossover group between CPG Club and [email protected] formed within hours to flip a CPG Genesis Pass. They yielded over 2x in 20 days. Collective oversight can lead to better investment decisions.
  • Bluebeanfam is a sub-community within Azuki that used Prysm to participate in the Valhalla mint!
